"As ground is adorable to a king, in the same way, historical monuments are an epitome of glory for a country".
Thousands of small and big monuments are scattered across the length and breadth of the country. Several foreign communities came to India either as traders or travellers and created new monuments. These monuments are mirror of our culture ,tradition ,religion and hymns ana mantras. They are reflector of our past glory and grandeur. Taj Mahal situated in Agra is even involved in seven wonders of the world. Taj Mahal and Qutub Minar etc. have been declared cultural heritage by UN.
However, the glory and splendor of these historical monuments is diminishing due to rain, hot sunrays, weather uncertainties, pollution coming out of factories and industries situated near by, etc. Their walls are crumbling, rocks are getting cracked and the stones are losing plaster . Cleanliness and unhygienic conditions are emerged to be the chief hallmarks of such great treasures. Tourists, travellers and the residents of often neglect the importance of these monuments for tourism tourism industry, transport industry etc.
At last, in my opinion there is an urgent need to take frequent steps because its never too late to mend. "Charity begins at home" should be the main motto of every citizen in the country. In this context , government should provide funds and form a committee of experts and specialists to preserve, conserve, and restore the glory of our cultural heritage. Industries and factories should be set up away from sites of monuments. Anybody find damaging structure or walls of thest historical monuments must be strictly punished.
Thanks for your adorable time.
